What caused you to read the novel? What did you like about it?

I always found 9/101 interesting , I think that’s what drew my attention towards the book. The way it is written is accessible and – in way – light.

Oskar loses his dad in 9/11 and finds a key in his closet, which he thinks is a clue. In his search for the lock he meets new people.

What makes this novel interesting?

I think it is interesting becasue cince you can look inside Oskar’s mind, everything he does looks so normal, even when it’s not.

In what categories would you place this novel?

growing-up, loss

What novel would you recommend after reading this?

I would recommend The Collector after reading this. In both books the main characters are in abnormal situations and they don’t react like you would expect a person to.
