What caused you to read the novel? What did you like about it?

I think this novel was quite good. It’s not too long at about 180 pages. And even though the level of English used is somewhat difficult, I believe that with some effort everyone can get through it. The subject is easily referenced to our own world, because it is about fear of the unknown and more specifically, unknown cultures and strangers.

Describe the novel in a tweet

twitterThis novel is about an old man faced with a choice: to be loyal to his country or follow his morality and be a traitor.

What makes this novel interesting?

The fact that every part has its focus on a different subject. And also that you can apply it to modern society. It also poses a difficult question about morality.

In what categories would you place this novel?
